I strongly believe it is my moral obligation to actively oppose this war, as well as help educate the American public on the futility of current U.S. foreign policy toward the Middle East.

I deployed to Iraq for 13 months and turned against the wars during that time. I refused deployment to Afghanistan in April 2009 and was incarcerated few months later. I was discharged from the Army in October 2009.

I served 7 months in Iraq from January to July 2004 in Baghdad and Najaf. I was wounded by an IED and was awarded a purple heart. In January 2005 I went AWOL to Canada and after almost two years of fighting to open the doors for others I was being deported so I came back in October 2006. I was discharged without a court martial because my unit was in Germany. Peace much love and most of all Resist!!!!

I served in the Michigan Army National Guard for six years as a 13B (Artilleryman) in Charlie 1-119th. I was mobilized to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to serve in Camp Delta as a prison guard.
